I love this dress!!! ♥

Eigentlich gibt es zwei Favoriten für diesen Titel, aber da ich selbst die Hauptdarstellerin in Näd Mikas wundervollem "Cassandra"-Video bin, fällt dieser aus dem Wettbewerb *lach*. Und ansonsten ist meine Wahl klar und eindeutig und der Pokal wandert nach Argentinien!

In diesem feschen Musik-Video von PATOKAI sehen wir den versammelten Untergrund von Buenos Aires im 'Bandenkrieg' (die Ultras gegen die Frauen-Gang Bettys), den Electro-Künstler PATOKAI selbst, Models, Kleinkriminelle und Tänzer und nicht zuletzt atemberaubende Outfits argentinischer Mode-Designer*innen (wie VIBRADIOS und YAN HATS) und kinky und sexy Stylings (von Yan Xcess (YAN HATS), Make-Up von Tamara Stella und anderen) aus der offensichtlich sehr umtriebigen 'B.A. (Buenos Aires) Trash' Szene... ein Blockbuster!!! ♥

Außerdem ist es in Zeiten kapitalistischer Dauer-'Krisen' gut zu wissen, dass die Fashionistas, Riot Grrrls und Cyber-Punx aus Buenos Aires schon einmal geübt haben, Überwachungskameras elegant aus dem Weg zu räumen... (^.^) Einfach nur wunderbar!!! ♥

Actually, there are two favourites for this title, but since I am the main actor in Näd Mika's wonderful "Cassandra"-Video myself, this one falls out of the competition *lol*. And apart from that my choice is clear and univocal and the cup and trophy goes to Argentina!

In this posh and smart music video from PATOKAI we see the assembled underground of Buenos Aires in a 'gang war' (the Ultras versus the women's gang of the Bettys), Electro artist PATOKAI himself, models, small-time criminals and dancers and not least breathtaking outfits by Argentinian fashion designers (like VIBRADIOS and YAN HATS) and kinky and sexy stylings (by Yan Xcess (YAN HATS), Make-Up by Tamara Stella and others) from the apparently very bustling 'B.A. (Buenos Aires) Trash' scene... a blockbuster!!! ♥
Furthermore, in times of permanent capitalist 'crisis', it's good to know that the fashionistas, riot grrrls and cyber punks from Buenos Aires once already have practiced to elegantly sweep monitoring cameras out of the way... (^.^) Simply wonderful!!! ♥

Having our punk fashion sub-topics of the holes, the nets and the transparency all perfectly with the harness by DEGENEROTIKA shown by Laura SCHEN during her wonderful live concert earlier that evening, NÄD MIKA was the great representative of the punk-fashion sub-topics of the shields and of visibility later that night. Just like the opposite of the other sphere - regarding some 'original' punk fashion significant in items like leather jackets, heavy boots, spikes and so on. Many references to these kinds of styles appeared in NÄD's stage outfit, starting from hiding under a monk-like cowl during the beginning of her show, when everything was smoky already since the fog machine of Urban Spree did a good job on that...

Enigmatic: NÄD MIKA appears on stage during her foggy Intro like coming out of a crypt...

Actually, that is where she came from!!! (^.^)

... after taking off the cowl, the main outfit of NÄD MIKA was to be seen underneath:

an amazing costume by fashion designer Julia Weinstock's WUNSCHGESTÖBER label (Wunschgestöber is a very suitable name, it means something like a flurry of wishes and desires...), made out of black wet-look lacquer with a significant triangle or X between shoulders and hips, highlighted by yellow stripes following and emphasizing this flamboyant form...

... and this gorgeous outfit was just as Näd's concert as a whole...

After our switch from the beautiful, arty gallery atmosphere to Urban Spree's club & dance room after midnight and a first driving DJ set by Steve Morell there - giving the starting fire for the second half of our fourth Night of Fashion, Performances, Arts & Music - NÄD MIKA went on stage for her furious and bombastic live show of her recently released great album "Liebling Bang Bang" and older songs. She wore a significant latex dress by WUNSCHGESTÖBER costume design and came with her amazingly erotic dancer ANITA. Having the perfect electronic party beats & a great appealing voice for her wonderful Berlin nightlife lyrics, her congenial live/life attitude & Anita's crazy dance show all on her side, NÄD MIKA's live set was hot as hell... it was simply like...

CASSANDRA uncensored

On our STYLE! IT! TAKES! # 4 - Night of Fashion, Performances, Arts & Music @ Urban Spree we had two exclusive video-release screenings from our live performing musicians SCHEN (“Electronic Bubbles”) and from NÄD MIKA (“Cassandra”) - both were shown for the first time ever!!!
First, after the Transgender Fashion Show, NÄD MIKA's Cassandra-Video had it's world première, and it was screened in the uncensored version! :-) Containing some BDSM-like scenes between me and Näd Mika's live dancer ANITA, the video got censored to be shown on stupid-nude-policy-platforms like Facebook or YouTube later... But our guests had the whole fun of this amazing video made by filmer Katha Gramke, cutted by Susi Hecht and performed by Kersten and Anita...
I love Näd Mika's song and the video filming gave me a chance to wear some extravagant outfits, mainly out of my personal wardrobe, and to make some hidden links to some STYLE! IT! TAKES! blog & project related clothes and accessories (books, fanzines, posters, hula-hoop-ring...)...

CLEA CUTTHROAT performs Alice in lingerie by BLACK BOULEVARD

Irgendwann an jenem wunderbar-sonnigen Sommerabend im Chalet Garten gab es einen Moment, wo ich sehr sehr nervös wurde. Nachdem unsere ersten sechs Performances unter freiem Himmel im unteren Garten stattgefunden hatten, wo sich auch ein Großteil unserer Gäste aufhielt, sollte die erste Show von CLEA CUTTHROAT im DJ-Pavillon stattfinden. Der war zwar in Sichtweite, aber für eine gute Sicht auf die Performance war es trotzdem nötig, aufzustehen und sich ins schattige Innere des Pavillons zu begeben. Die Sache war aber noch kniffliger, da alles sehr schnell gehen musste, sobald ich nach meiner Ansage die Musik gestartet hatte. Unsere legendäre New Yorker Burlesque Tänzerin CLEA CUTTHROAT räkelte sich also auf einem alten Sofa, ich drückte auf 'Play' und hatte plötzlich Panik, was passieren würde, wenn nun niemand aufstehen und hineinkommen würde. Bei unserem großartigen Publikum und einer der weltweit besten Neo-Burlesque-Performerinnen war meine Sorge glücklicherweise vollkommen unbegründet - binnen Sekunden füllte sich das alte Gebäude und alle schauten gebannt auf CLEA CUTTHROAT!!! ♥♥♥
Mit zuckersüßem Make-up und in einem blau-weißen Kleidchen performte CLEA zur Musik von Björk's "It's Oh So Quiet!" die kleine und die große Alice im Wunderland der Stofftiere, des grotesken Trashes, der Innereien und nicht zuletzt der wunderschönen Unterwäsche des brandneuen Lingerie-Labels BLACK BOULEVARD aus New York und Berlin... und Alice hat uns alle verzaubert, brachte uns zum Lachen und Staunen zugleich...
