Music & Fashion Video Of The Year: B. A. Trash

I love this dress!!! ♥

Eigentlich gibt es zwei Favoriten für diesen Titel, aber da ich selbst die Hauptdarstellerin in Näd Mikas wundervollem "Cassandra"-Video bin, fällt dieser aus dem Wettbewerb *lach*. Und ansonsten ist meine Wahl klar und eindeutig und der Pokal wandert nach Argentinien!

Endlessly stunning outfits: Designer Yan Xcess from YAN HATS ♥

In diesem feschen Musik-Video von PATOKAI sehen wir den versammelten Untergrund von Buenos Aires im 'Bandenkrieg' (die Ultras gegen die Frauen-Gang Bettys), den Electro-Künstler PATOKAI selbst, Models, Kleinkriminelle und Tänzer und nicht zuletzt atemberaubende Outfits argentinischer Mode-Designer*innen (wie VIBRADIOS und YAN HATS) und kinky und sexy Stylings (von Yan Xcess (YAN HATS), Make-Up von Tamara Stella und anderen) aus der offensichtlich sehr umtriebigen 'B.A. (Buenos Aires) Trash' Szene... ein Blockbuster!!! ♥
Außerdem ist es in Zeiten kapitalistischer Dauer-'Krisen' gut zu wissen, dass die Fashionistas, Riot Grrrls und Cyber-Punx aus Buenos Aires schon einmal geübt haben, Überwachungskameras elegant aus dem Weg zu räumen... (^.^) Einfach nur wunderbar!!! ♥

Actually, there are two favourites for this title, but since I am the main actor in Näd Mika's wonderful "Cassandra"-Video myself, this one falls out of the competition *lol*. And apart from that my choice is clear and univocal and the cup and trophy goes to Argentina!

In this posh and smart music video from PATOKAI we see the assembled underground of Buenos Aires in a 'gang war' (the Ultras versus the women's gang of the Bettys), Electro artist PATOKAI himself, models, small-time criminals and dancers and not least breathtaking outfits by Argentinian fashion designers (like VIBRADIOS and YAN HATS) and kinky and sexy stylings (by Yan Xcess (YAN HATS), Make-Up by Tamara Stella and others) from the apparently very bustling 'B.A. (Buenos Aires) Trash' scene... a blockbuster!!! ♥
Furthermore, in times of permanent capitalist 'crisis', it's good to know that the fashionistas, riot grrrls and cyber punks from Buenos Aires once already have practiced to elegantly sweep monitoring cameras out of the way... (^.^) Simply wonderful!!! ♥

STYLE! IT! TAKES! - eine Synthese der Künste

Manchmal wird es vielleicht ein bißchen kompliziert bei uns, weil unser Hang zur Synthese verschiedener Kunstformen dazu führen kann, dass kein Mensch mehr durchblickt, was bei unseren Events alles so geboten wird. Aber dafür gibt es ja live die Ansagen und jenseits dessen dieses Blog!!! (^.^) Was unsere Events und die Shows angeht, leben die Ereignisse von der Zusammenarbeit einer Vielzahl von kreativen Menschen, um die Sinnesfreuden an den normalerweise meist getrennten Arbeiten der Beteiligten verschiedener Sphären auf liebenswerte und unnachahmliche Weise zu ästhetischer Ekstase zu steigern... Hier aber wollen wir ausnahmsweise Schritt für Schritt vorgehen und ich möchte mich zunächst auf das Outfit der Tänzerin EN FINSTERNIS konzentrieren (oben auf dem Bild von der Ansage in der Mitte stehend), die bei unserem Berlin Fashion Week - Event STYLE! IT! TAKES! # 5 im Panke Club (Berlin-Wedding) zur Live-Show des argentinischen ElectroClash-Acts PATOKAI (auf dem Photo oben rechts) tanzte.

STYLE! IT! TAKES! - a synthesis of the arts

Sometimes it may get a bit complicated with us, since our tendency towards a synthesis of various art forms can lead to the circumstance that nobody really sees through the many things being offered at our events anymore. But for this, live there are the announcements and beyond that there is this blog!!! (^.^) Regarding our events and the shows, the happenings are living from the cooperation of a variety of creative people - to increase the sensual pleasures with the usually and mostly separated works of the participants of various spheres in a lovely and inimitable way to aesthetic ecstasy... For once, here we want to proceed step by step and I'd like to concentrate on the outfit of dancer EN FINSTERNIS first (in the picture from the announcement above standing in the middle), who danced at our Berlin Fashion Week event STYLE! IT! TAKES! # 5 at Panke Club (Berlin-Wedding) to the live show of Argentinian ElectroClash act PATOKAI (in the photo above to the right).

Das bezaubernde schwarze Kleid stammt aus der Kollektion "Pure Seduction" des Berliner Labels
V I A N Fashion der rührigen Designerin Vian Talab, welches ich Euch schon ausführlicher im Blog vorgestellt habe. EN FINSTERNIS trug es bei unserem Event schon während ihrer Performance zu dem Song "Divers" beim Konzert von THE WINGS OF DESIRE früher am Abend.
Für das PATOKAI-Konzert fungierte sie dann als Live-Tänzerin und trug einen atemberaubenden und wunderschönen Kopfschmuck der großartigen Modistin (Hutmacherin) Yan Xcess aus Buenos Aires (Argentinien). Auch Yan's Label YAN HATS habe ich Euch vor einigen Wochen schon ausführlicher hier vorgestellt. Hier sehen wir EN FINSTERNIS mit dem extra (!) für STYLE! IT! TAKES! angefertigten, an einen wunderschönen Schmetterling erinnernden und schimmernden Faszinator von YAN HATS und dem neckischen Kleid von V I A N Fashion - was für eine wunderbare und einzigartige Kombination!!! ♥♥♥

The charming black dress is part of the collection "Pure Seduction" of Berlin label V I A N Fashion by the stirring designer Vian Talab I have already introduced to you more in detail in this blog. EN FINSTERNIS wore it at our event already during her performance to the song "Divers" at the concert of THE WINGS OF DESIRE earlier that evening.
For the PATOKAI concert she then acted as live dancer and wore a breathtaking and wonderfully beautiful headpiece by the great milliner Yan Xcess from Buenos Aires (Argentina). I introduced to you Yan's label YAN HATS here more detailed some weeks ago already, too. Here we see EN FINSTERNIS with the fascinator of YAN HATS made extra (!) for STYLE! IT! TAKES!, reminiscent of a beautiful butterfly shimmering and reflecting the light, and the coquettish dress by V I A N Fashion - what a wonderful and unique combination!!! ♥♥♥

 Here we see the drop-dead beauty of the YAN HATS fascinator a bit more from the top and sneak a peek at the back of the V I A N dress with wonderful black lace, too. The beautiful make-up has been done by EN Finsternis herself. ♥♥♥

Both look so beautiful and were so lovely...
And so nice to see that they - not knowing each other before at all - got along so splendid and
had so much fun together!

An elevator full of YAN HATS

Usually, I'm absolutely not known for being into hats. At all. Even practical reasons like shelter from sun or rain are not really an excuse, there are umbrellas too - which I actually like very very much!!! And, I mean, why should somebody cover their - even if a bit confused or during (often charming) 'bad hair days' - beautiful hair style with a hat? In opposite to a weird hair style - hats often just look somehow ridiculous to me and sometimes seem only like an excuse. Like, wearing some sneakers because they are comfortable and pretending they are cool... ;-)
I like arty headpieces and I totally love the little teasers, like bobby pins, flowers, headbands or little fascinators, but - where's the aesthetic ecstasy in hat wear?

But, to every rule there are exceptions. First has been the perfectly deployed headwear worn by Thea Adora Bauer of DEGENEROTIKA label. And when I saw what Argentinian hat and fascinator stylist Yan Xcess from YAN HATS is creating, I have to admit, I've been convinced finally... :-) So, I could say:

Mostly, I'm not into hats... but I'm addicted to... and
I love YAN HATS!!!

Breath-taking fascinators reminiscent of cubistic crystals are prepared on the head of a beautiful model here already, and Argentinian photographer and artist Emma Livingston - tired of waiting - took the stairs to capture these beautiful moments with her eyes and camera, too.

On this floor, there's a YAN HATS Catwalk going on. She's presenting these unbelievable hats for the AW collection 2014 of Argentinian fashion designer Fabián Zitta, who does fashion runways around the world and has represented Argentina in the last New York Fashion Week in October 2013 (YAN HATS made the headpieces for this collection as well). Luckily photographer Emma Livingston - as none of the missing models arrived at the top floor yet - just took the walking way again to shoot this amazing show one floor below instead of waiting. I'm so glad that she made it in time!!! ♥

YAN HATS appeared in many fashion magazines already, to name just one, in Harper's Bazaar Argentina. This is a cover from La Nacion Revista magazine resulting from today's show...

Finally, the models waiting for the elevator made their way up for the shooting by using the stairs, too. Everybody's relieved to meet and so there has to be time for more backstage chats about the stuck elevator and what happened waiting for the others. Then, the shooting can begin...
