Joyeux Noël dans la forêt

Today I have some beautiful photographies by Polish photographer Agnieszka Lorek for you my dearest readers. I'm totally speechless about the enchanting beauty of her works and these gorgeous eye candies and mystical aesthetic ecstasy. Though they are not actually made for Christmas, in a time of superficiality and speed, of wars and barbarity, of loneliness and destruction, of money & greed, these beautiful art works give back this celebration it's mesmerizing, romantic and human ties and remind us, what it originally all was about: searching, coming together, cooperating, celebrating, donating, hoping, dreaming and not to forget and most of all: love.

Glamorous White Dresses or: Why I love Weddings

Woman in a white dress with huge soft pink & white flower fascinator in her hair
Pic via Twitter, so unfortunately I got to search for the designer, model & photographer etc. now... ;-)
Pls let me know if you know anything.
♥

Right after luckily the wedding of the real estate brokers with the proletarian Berlin district named Wedding (!) subversively has been cancelled on the 1st of May (Mayday), nevertheless I subsequently devote myself to the bridal fashion once. I don't want to controvert about sense and nonsense of the bourgeois, governmental and / or religious marriage here and now – despite joy at same-sex marriage is winning through more and more internationally. The fact of the matter is that this custom seems to stimulate fashion designers to peak performances. Finally they can 'have a fling' as otherwise they only can in the haute couture. If it was up to me, this really could find its way into the modish everyday life a bit... How beautiful would be a razzia in all those wardrobes of (former) brides with all those dusty and never worn again pretty wedding dresses! Thereto such marvelous hair accessories like in the photo above – and then away with it to the next ball, into the club, into the parks, to the lesbian rendezvous and to the streets... even without any marriage! (^.^)

Not safe for sex

*lach*)! ♥

Admittedly, the designs rarely are very functional, but as the samples to be seen here show, often breathtakingly beautiful! I very much like the body jewelry in the pic above, a direct hit regarding cut, sophistication and details is the dress by haute couture designer Celia Kritharioti from Greece below, oscillating between avantgarde and tradition, between minimalism and plenty. Definitely one of my absolute favorites here (yes, my taste is quite expensive... *lol*)! ♥

Mehr ist mehr / More is more

Then there are the variants rather reminiscent of ancient ball gowns with sheer endless masses of tulle which conjure a radius of several square meters. This is actually not so impractical at all when a woman wants to have her peace once in a while! (^.^) In contrast, in these three examples the torso is quite revealing and emphasized which creates an interesting erotic tension. Especially I like the beautiful heart-shaped corsage in the photo above. ♥

Woman in an endless white bridal dress
Pic via Twitter, no original sources, see comments above...

Wow! ♥

But the most beautiful here is in my eyes the last bridal dress by Said Mhamad below, of which beside the wonderful glitter corsage I also totally love the embroidered (half-)sheer top, which reminds me a bit of the pretty outfits of 'my' beloved ice figure skaters and rhythmic gymnasts. The little ribbons in the crooks of arms, the little dots around the neckline and the shoulders and the sparkling rhinestones replacing tattoos on the upper arms are drop-dead gorgeous. Wow! ♥

Wo? Wo immer wir wollen...
Where? Wherever we want...

Both pics via Wedding Inspirasi (Twitter)

As is well known, a beautiful rear can also endear – many designs take account of that, too. A question not so easily to be answered is where to put the, apart from that, lavish masses of fabric then – maybe it just takes a pretty female assistent, in other words: a train-bearer??? So for the 'everyday life' maybe better the third look then (which I also like the most here), as with the anyway a bit 'fringy' tangle of fabric it's maybe not such a problem when the enchanting train is trailed over the floor of a ruin... ;-) ♥

Bei jedem Wetter / In all weathers

Even when it rains... no problem with a wonderful white umbrella!
Pic via Twitter

Of course, beside beautiful hairstyles, jewelry for hair, ears, body and hands, to a wedding dress also belong accessories like bridal bouquets and clutches (which strangely we don't get to see here at all) and – why not? – umbrellas! Certainly the style conscious woman should be prepared for any eventualities... (^.^) Those who don't like the sheer umbrella above as much as me perhaps may ask the 'chum' below if she has left over a bit of lace cloth, because a handsome alternative to it would be an umbrella made of white lace of course! ♥

Michelle Sauls - Forever and always xxxx

As we see, it needs a sweet lesbian bridal couple to remind us of one of the finest accessories of a wedding dress: the veil. With it, let's walk hand in hand and go kissing 'around the corner'...  ♥

Und ich? And me?

Woman in a bridal dress putting on her shoes

Though I'm even invited to a wedding soon and already frantically ask myself what I could wear then, as you know even that is no opportunity for a guest to get a beautiful bridal dress. So I got to find another excuse! Perhaps an excursion to a museum or a castle?

STYLE! IT! TAKES!

IT! TAKES!

STYLE! IT! TAKES! - a synthesis of the arts

Sometimes it may get a bit complicated with us, since our tendency towards a synthesis of various art forms can lead to the circumstance that nobody really sees through the many things being offered at our events anymore. But for this, live there are the announcements and beyond that there is this blog!!! (^.^) Regarding our events and the shows, the happenings are living from the cooperation of a variety of creative people - to increase the sensual pleasures with the usually and mostly separated works of the participants of various spheres in a lovely and inimitable way to aesthetic ecstasy... For once, here we want to proceed step by step and I'd like to concentrate on the outfit of dancer EN FINSTERNIS first (in the picture from the announcement above standing in the middle), who danced at our Berlin Fashion Week event STYLE! IT! TAKES! # 5 at Panke Club (Berlin-Wedding) to the live show of Argentinian ElectroClash act PATOKAI (in the photo above to the right).

During my announcement ahead of the PATOKAI concert @
Berlin Fashion Week, 12th of July 2014 (Panke Club in Berlin-Wedding)

IT! TAKES! angefertigten, an einen wunderschönen Schmetterling erinnernden und schimmernden Faszinator von YAN HATS und dem neckischen Kleid von V I A N Fashion - was für eine wunderbare und einzigartige Kombination!!! ♥♥♥

The charming black dress is part of the collection "Pure Seduction" of Berlin label V I A N Fashion by the stirring designer Vian Talab I have already introduced to you more in detail in this blog. EN FINSTERNIS wore it at our event already during her performance to the song "Divers" at the concert of THE WINGS OF DESIRE earlier that evening.
For the PATOKAI concert she then acted as live dancer and wore a breathtaking and wonderfully beautiful headpiece by the great milliner Yan Xcess from Buenos Aires (Argentina). I introduced to you Yan's label YAN HATS here more detailed some weeks ago already, too. Here we see EN FINSTERNIS with the fascinator of YAN HATS made extra (!) for STYLE! IT! TAKES!, reminiscent of a beautiful butterfly shimmering and reflecting the light, and the coquettish dress by V I A N Fashion - what a wonderful and unique combination!!! ♥♥♥

VILORIJA Blume-Models backstage

Hier drei Momentaufnahmen unseres offiziellen Photographen Benjamin Lippke von House of Rough Arts, backstage beim Berlin Fashion Week Event STYLE! IT! TAKES! # 5 - Gärten der Lüste letzten Samstag in der Panke in Wedding.

Yesterday I already posted sweet pre-show snapshots of and selfies by our wonderful Berlin VILORIJA models. Here three shots by our official photographer Benjamin Lippke from House of Rough Arts, backstage at Berlin Fashion Week event STYLE! IT! TAKES! # 5 - Gardens of Desire last Saturday at Panke Club in Wedding.

Our lovely Blume model group, close and tightly and all together backstage (from left to right):
Tingting Wu, the Blue Blume, Eva Catherine, the Yellow Blume, Kersten Haines, the Black Blume, Teresa Peitz, the Ballerina-Pink Blume, Franziska Jünger (sitting), not dressed here since she first did our make-up and soon became the Pink Blume, Sonja Ruska, the Purple Blume and Kelly (sitting), the Red Blume.

Teresa Peitz who helped styling our hair and Sonja Ruska look not so happy with being photographed in our girls' dressing room shortly before our show... (that must have been some time after I got a bit too unfriendly with a backstage interview request ahead of the show... ;-) Being a very respectable photographer, Benjamin immediately left the room of course. Last words exchanged between us models, the show could start soon! ♥

... and so more happy after: Sonja Ruska, the Purple Blume and Tingting Wu, the Blue Blume in their beautiful VILORIJA dresses, with purses and fascinator in the bar room of Panke Club

IT! TAKES! # 5 - Gärten der Lüste so glücklich waren... ♥♥♥

An elevator full of YAN HATS

Usually, I'm absolutely not known for being into hats. At all. Even practical reasons like shelter from sun or rain are not really an excuse, there are umbrellas too - which I actually like very very much!!! And, I mean, why should somebody cover their - even if a bit confused or during (often charming) 'bad hair days' - beautiful hair style with a hat? In opposite to a weird hair style - hats often just look somehow ridiculous to me and sometimes seem only like an excuse. Like, wearing some sneakers because they are comfortable and pretending they are cool... ;-)
I like arty headpieces and I totally love the little teasers, like bobby pins, flowers, headbands or little fascinators, but - where's the aesthetic ecstasy in hat wear?

Ground floor
Waiting...

Models queueing up in front of the elevator... coming for a YAN HATS shooting in the top floor of the building...

But, to every rule there are exceptions. First has been the perfectly deployed headwear worn by Thea Adora Bauer of DEGENEROTIKA label. And when I saw what Argentinian hat and fascinator stylist Yan Xcess from YAN HATS is creating, I have to admit, I've been convinced finally... :-) So, I could say:

Mostly, I'm not into hats... but I'm addicted to... and
I love YAN HATS!!!
♥

Designer Yan Xcess creates amazing graphics - and gorgeous fascinators & hats

On this floor, there's a YAN HATS Catwalk going on. She's presenting these unbelievable hats for the AW collection 2014 of Argentinian fashion designer Fabián Zitta, who does fashion runways around the world and has represented Argentina in the last New York Fashion Week in October 2013 (YAN HATS made the headpieces for this collection as well). Luckily photographer Emma Livingston - as none of the missing models arrived at the top floor yet - just took the walking way again to shoot this amazing show one floor below instead of waiting. I'm so glad that she made it in time!!! ♥

I love these hats... and what gorgeous dresses, too!!! ♥

So, even though some visitors missed the show, Emma was there and not only the Argentinian press was very thankful for that! YAN HATS appeared in many fashion magazines already, to name just one, in Harper's Bazaar Argentina. This is a cover from La Nacion Revista magazine resulting from today's show...

Finally, the models waiting for the elevator made their way up for the shooting by using the stairs, too. Everybody's relieved to meet and so there has to be time for more backstage chats about the stuck elevator and what happened waiting for the others. Then, the shooting can begin...

When the elevator door finally opens, other models searching for the rest already got lost in and around the building...
