CASSANDRA uncensored

On our STYLE! IT! TAKES! # 4 - Night of Fashion, Performances, Arts & Music @ Urban Spree we had two exclusive video-release screenings from our live performing musicians SCHEN (“Electronic Bubbles”) and from NÄD MIKA (“Cassandra”) - both were shown for the first time ever!!!
First, after the Transgender Fashion Show, NÄD MIKA's Cassandra-Video had it's world première, and it was screened in the uncensored version! :-) Containing some BDSM-like scenes between me and Näd Mika's live dancer ANITA, the video got censored to be shown on stupid-nude-policy-platforms like Facebook or YouTube later... But our guests had the whole fun of this amazing video made by filmer Katha Gramke, cutted by Susi Hecht and performed by Kersten and Anita...
I love Näd Mika's song and the video filming gave me a chance to wear some extravagant outfits, mainly out of my personal wardrobe, and to make some hidden links to some STYLE! IT! TAKES! blog & project related clothes and accessories (books, fanzines, posters, hula-hoop-ring...)...

Once I had this blog rated containing sensitive stuff for minors, but then before you see anything on my blog you have to click an agree button and that seemed very stupid in my eyes, especially since this text is not translated into the languages of the worldwide users, so it caused lots of confusion only)

SUMMER FALLS: Dressed in black again

Urbane Erkundungen sind Wege und Orte jenseits ausgetretener Pfade und daher verraten alle, die solche betreten, zu Recht meist ungern Details über das genaue wo und wie... An einem zufällig und spontan entdeckten, sehr verwunschenen Ort irgendwo in Berlin-Buch befinden sich stillgelegte Bahngleise inmitten wilder Natur - einer meiner geheimen Lieblingsorte in Berlin!
Hier haben wir letztes Jahr um diese Zeit ein Test-Shooting meines Bühnenoutfits für Nora Belows Live-Konzert in Zagreb gemacht. Da von dem Konzert im AKC Medika in Zagreb zwar ein großartiger Live-Mitschnitt, aber leider keine Photos von der Performance mit Nora Below existieren, hier eine Auswahl der Photos von letztem Sommer in weitgehend übereinstimmender Fetisch-Garderobe: schwarze, hochhackige Lack-Stiefeletten aus London, schwarze Netz-Straps-Strümpfe (im AKC Medika, wo es recht kühl war, durch schwarze Lack-Leggings ersetzt), schwarzer, bauschiger Spitzen-Rock und eine schwarze, geraffte Corsage, dazu schwarze fingerlose Spitzenhandschuhe und knallroter Nagellack.
Für die spätsommerliche Photo-Session auch ein paar Accessoires aus der BDSM-Kiste und einen wunderschönen schwarzen Spitzenfächer aus Sevilla.

On a rainy day I post these one year old pictures from a test-shooting of my stage wear for my performance with Nora Below in AKC Medika in Zagreb (Croatia) later that year. Though a fantastic live bootleg exists of this great night, unfortunately there are no pictures of the performance itself. These photos in black fetish wear were made late last summer in a very special, unknown and wonderful surrounding somewhere in Berlin-Buch. I bought the black wet-look ankle boots with high-heeled stilettoes in London, the wonderful black fan in Sevilla.

MARLENE VON STEENVAG performs MISS MOSS CORSETS

@ STYLE! IT! TAKES! # 2 - Night of Fashion, Performances & Music /
Grüner Salon der Volksbühne / Berlin-Mitte / Berlin Fashion Week 18. Januar 2013

Germany's most glamorous Burlesque artist MARLENE VON STEENVAG opened the second Night of Fashion, Performances & Music performing MISS MOSS CORSETS with an amazing show called 'Bird of Paradise'. In the middle and center of this performance Marlene showed a breathtaking handmade corset by our great designer Miss Moss from MISS MOSS CORSETS.

Marlene started her dance with huge white-transparent Egyptian Love Goddess ISIS-style wings reflecting all the colours like a rainbow, in a wonderful white dress and with beautiful white flowers in her hair...

Beside being Goddess of Love, ISIS is also recognized as Goddess taking care of the Dead, as Goddess of the Sea, Mother of the Sun and Goddess of the Moon, to mention just a few...

With her phantastic wing dance (greatly to be seen in the video by Martin Fürstenberg, see link below), Marlene showed her wonderful white dress wearing beautiful white gloves and gorgeous jewelry...

And then we got to see her amazing MISS MOSS CORSET - breathtakingly beautiful...

The phantastic colours reminded me a bit of the movie Marie Antoinette, and I wasn't far off, as fashion designer Miss Moss cites historical costumes as her main influences... Meeoooooow!

The underbust corset of pink satin covered with luxurious blue lace was handmade by Miss Moss and has so many wonderful details... so lovely! ♥

Making the corset, Miss Moss and Marlene von Steenvag worked very closely together:

“The corset was tailor made to Marlene's measurements.

Marlene really likes to pull her corsets tightly so I had to pay special attention to the size of the waist – making sure it could be small enough for her to tight lace if she wants to!
Marlene and I pretty much chose the fabrics at the fabric shop, we worked together to find out what she needed and what she fancied!”

In addition to Miss Moss' corset (in the picture above you can see the beautiful inside of it), Marlene used the rest of the fabrics Miss Moss and Marlene chose before to create these fitting dessous herself: a holder-neck bra with wonderful details, a beautiful slip with bows at the sides, nipple pasties plus a belt with garters.

In the last phase, Marlene turned her performance into a wonderful feather dance with huge pink ostrich-feather fans, but ending in a mussel. Is the Goddess of Love after transforming into a princess, a queen, a dancer, a stripper, a bird finally returning to the sea or is she turning to stone in the palaces, gardens and parks of the world...?
