Lipstick Lesbian Cinema: Girls Kissing Girls

Nicht nur in Zusammenhang mit meinem letzten Post zum Thema 'Femme Lesben' ("Girls Loving Girls" vom April diesen Jahres) habe ich verschiedene Klagen gehört, dass diese femininen Lesben leider nirgends zu finden seien. Angesichts der traditionellen Häufigkeit dieser Klage, geäußert von femininen, offensichtlich zumindest lesbisch/bisexuell 'interessierten' Frauen, fast schon irgendwie lustig. Soll ich mal ne Party organisieren? *lach* Auch im gewöhnlich gut informierten Urban Dictionary wird die Frage aufgeworfen: "Where are all the lipstick lesbians?".

Hier sind 'sie' – eingesammelt auf verschiedenen lesbischen Twitter-Accounts mit denen die zwitschernde Seite von STYLE! IT! TAKES! liiert ist, da diese schönen Aufnahmen viel zu schade sind, im 'Kurzzeitgedächtnis' von Twitter unterzugehen und ich sie dort aus verschiedenen Gründen auch eher selten retweete. Heute gibt's also Femme Lesbisches Kino in Form kleiner GIF-Filmchen (technisch Interessierte verweise ich auf meine Anmerkungen zu diesem Thema am Ende dieses Posts). Da ich mich zu gesellschaftlichen und gender-politischen Aspekten der Ausgrenzung und Unsichtbarmachung von Lesben, bi- und pansexuellen Frauen und zu meinem Fokus auf Femme & Lipstick Lesben schon das letzte Mal geäußert habe, wünsche ich heute einfach viel Spaß und sinnliche Freuden. Los geht's gleich mit einem meiner Lieblingsfilmchen, also

Not only related to my last post on the subject of 'Femme Lesbians' ("Girls Loving Girls" from April this year) I have heard several laments that those feminine lesbians unfortunately would be nowhere to find. Considering the traditional frequency of this lamentation, uttered by feminine, evidently at least lesbian/bisexual 'interested' women, almost a bit funny somehow. Shall I organize a party once? *lol* Even the usually well-informed Urban Dictionary brings up the question: "Where are all the lipstick lesbians?".

Here 'they' are – collected from various lesbian Twitter accounts with which the tweeting side of STYLE! IT! TAKES! is associated, since these beautiful shots are far too good to sink and drown in the 'short-term memory' of Twitter and I retweet them there for a variety of reasons rather infrequently, too. So today we'll have Femme Lesbian Cinema in the form of little GIF movies (I refer the technically interested to my remarks on this subject at the end of this post).
As I have commented on social and gender-political aspects of the exclusion and (forced) invisibility of lesbians, bi- and pansexual women and about my focus on femme & lipstick lesbians already the last time, today I just wish a lot of fun and sensual pleasures. We gonna start straight away with one of my favourite little movies, so

Technische Hinweise: Obwohl es sich bei diesen Aufnahmen 'ursprünglich' um GIF-Filmchen handelt, sind sie auf Twitter (woher ich sie habe) genau genommen keine mehr, denn seit Twitter im Juni 2014 das Posten von GIF-Dateien und Animationen ermöglicht hat, werden diese von Twitter beim Hochladen automatisch in MP4-Videos umgewandelt. Das hat den Vorteil, dass die Dateien kleiner werden und nicht ohne Mausklick anlaufen, aber auch den Nachteil, dass das GIF-typische automatische Anlaufen und die permanente Wiederholung des kurzen Filmausschnitts verloren gehen. Auch das legendäre und charmante Datei-Format selbst kommt dadurch für die downloadenden User*innen abhanden, was Twitter leider zu einer Art Friedhof für GIF-Dateien macht. Da ich das schade und zu traurig finde, war ich schlauer und habe die MP4-Videos einfach in echte altmodische animierte GIFs zurückverwandelt, die die ganze Nacht in Endlosschlaufen laufen und mit ihren riesigen Datenmengen Eure analogen und digitalen Leitungen (hoffentlich nicht!) zum Explodieren bringen... (^.^) ♥

(das ist keine Werbung und ich übernehme keinerlei Garantie für den Anbieter, aber wie Ihr in diesem Post seht, funktioniert es zumindest!): Ezgif.com - Animated Gifs made easy

Technical remarks: Though these shots 'originally' were little GIF movies, technically speaking they are not anymore on Twitter (where I got them from), because since Twitter made it possible to upload and post GIF files and animations in June 2014, these files are automatically turned into MP4 videos by Twitter when uploading them. This has the advantage that these files are getting smaller and do not start without mouse click, but also the disadvantage that the GIF-typical autoplay and the continuous repetition (looping) of the short film clip get lost. With this, the legendary and charming file format itself gets lost for the downloading users, too, which unfortunately turns Twitter to a kind of cemetery for GIF-files. As I think that's a shame and too sad, I was foxier and just transformed the MP4 videos back into real good old-fashioned animated GIFs running in loops all night long and letting your analog or digital lines (hopefully not!) explode with huge size data... (^.^) ♥

Schon länger versuche ich für unser STYLE! IT! TAKES! - Projekt Kontakte zu Berliner Hochschulen und jungen Mode-Design-Student*innen aufzubauen. Nachdem sich erfreulicherweise mit der Mode-Designerin B. A. Jenna Hartmann und ihrem Transgender Fashion Label BAAL erstmals eine solche an unserer Veranstaltung beteiligt hat (bei STYLE! IT! TAKES! # 4 im Urban Spree zur Berlin Fashion Week im Januar 2014) und das auch ganz großartig bei unseren Gästen ankam, haben wir bei der vor der Tür stehenden STYLE! IT! TAKES! # 5 (am Samstag, den 12. Juli 2014 in der Panke in Berlin-Wedding) mit SCHRÜPPE McINTOSH und V I A N Fashion zwei weitere, sehr unterschiedliche Mode-Designerinnen aus Jenna's ehemaliger Klasse an der Mediadesign Hochschule dabei. Wir freuen uns sehr darüber, neben unseren bekannteren und erfolgreichen Labels wie Degenerotika (Berlin / Ljubljana), Yan Hats aus Argentinien oder Vilorija aus Paris auch jungen Designer*innen eine Plattform geben zu können, bei uns ihre Mode in einem relativ großen und dennoch ungewöhnlichen Rahmen bei den Berlin Fashion Week - Showroom Days präsentieren zu können. Nachdem es heute ein sehr schönes und herzliches Fitting mit der V I A N Designerin Vian Talab und Tänzerin EN Finsternis gab, möchte ich Euch nun ihr Label vorstellen.

For quite some time I try to expand contacts for our STYLE! IT! TAKES! - project to Berlin colleges / universities and young fashion design students. After fortunately with fashion designer B. A. Jenna Hartmann and her Transgender Fashion Label BAAL for the first time such a student participated in our events (at STYLE! IT! TAKES! # 4 in Urban Spree for Berlin Fashion Week in January 2014) and our guests liked that very much, for STYLE! IT! TAKES! # 5 standing just around the corner (on Saturday, 12th of July 2014 in Panke club in Berlin-Wedding), with SCHRÜPPE McINTOSH and V I A N Fashion two further, very different fashion designers from Jenna's former class at the Mediadesign Hochschule are joining us now. We are happy very much to be able to provide a platform not only for our more known and successful labels like Degenerotika (Berlin / Ljubljana), Yan Hats from Argentina or Vilorija from Paris but also for young designers to present their fashion in a relatively big and nevertheless unusual setting at Berlin Fashion Week - Showroom Days. After there has been a very nice and cordially fitting today with V I A N designer Vian Talab and dancer EN Finsternis, I would like to introduce her label to you now.

V I A N ist ein junges Fashion Label aus Berlin, gegründet von Vian Talab. Der Stil des Labels zeichnet sich durch tragbares, extravagantes und modernes Design sowie Eleganz, klassisch-körpernahe Formen und raffinierte Schnittführung aus. Bei den Materialien und der Verarbeitung wird besonderer Wert auf Hochwertigkeit gelegt. Die Modelle betonen den weiblichen Körper und sind sowohl alltagstauglich als auch zu festlichen Anlässen tragbar, indem die Trägerin Selbstbewusstsein und Sinnlichkeit ausstrahlt.

Die Abschluss-Arbeit von Designerin Vian Talab war "Pure Seduction", eine Kollektion, die an die vorherige anknüpfte und diese weiterentwickelte.

The graduation work of designer Vian Talab has been "Pure Seduction", a collection which took up the direction of the earlier one and extended it.

Of course, we won't reveal for which outfit we decided today. And in other ways as well we can be eager how it will look like, when our dancer EN Finsternis will wear and present something from the collection of V I A N in form of her performances. And it will not be the only surprise!!!

NÄD MIKA live & her dancer ANITA seen by JARKA SNAJBERK

After our switch from the beautiful, arty gallery atmosphere to Urban Spree's club & dance room after midnight and a first driving DJ set by Steve Morell there - giving the starting fire for the second half of our fourth Night of Fashion, Performances, Arts & Music - NÄD MIKA went on stage for her furious and bombastic live show of her recently released great album "Liebling Bang Bang" and older songs. She wore a significant latex dress by WUNSCHGESTÖBER costume design and came with her amazingly erotic dancer ANITA. Having the perfect electronic party beats & a great appealing voice for her wonderful Berlin nightlife lyrics, her congenial live/life attitude & Anita's crazy dance show all on her side, NÄD MIKA's live set was hot as hell... it was simply like...
