One of my favourite blog posts this year has been my rainbow-coloured double post about the Flower Girls pt.⊰1⊱ & pt. ⊰2⊱. We shouldn't forget the funny blowballs and the flowers in the sky, of course. Only thing is, I hate the war-like sound and partly aggressiveness of NYE as much as I do how much money people spent on this (and that they start already three days ahead).
As you may know, I prefer the sweet and sometimes even the quieter things. So here come the pure beautiful flowerworks in the sky and other sparkling dreams. You can choose your sound for it yourself. What about Händel's "Feuerwerksmusik" (why not? it's wonderful!)? Or something dark? Electronic vibes? Or you stay tuned to the original sound of the street? Decide yourself while watching these sweet sparkling moments, lovely scenes and impressions for a stylish NYE... ♥

Direkt nach dem Konzert von THE WINGS OF DESIRE betraten EVILYN FRANTIC und ich zu Streichen aufgelegt die Bühne, um gemeinsam Evilyns nun folgende nächtliche Feuer-Performance anzukündigen. Wir baten unser gewohnt und erfreulich mobiles Publikum, uns nach draußen in den vorderen Innenhof des Panke-Clubs zu folgen... Kurz darauf schaute mich unser DJ STEVE MORELL (bereits an den Tellern für sein erstes Set bereitstehend) etwas unsicher an und fragte, ob er trotzdem schon im Konzert- und Party-Raum beginnen - oder lieber warten solle, bis wir wieder rein kommen? Selbst etwas irritiert von seiner naheliegenden Frage sagte ich mit lachender Geste: "Nein, nein, fang auf jeden Fall schon an! Das ist STYLE! IT! TAKES! - alles passiert gleichzeitig!" (^.^) Kopfhörer auf, ein Schmunzeln - und los ging's... :-)

Natürlich folgte uns trotzdem ein Großteil des Publikums zunächst in den Hof, denn nach der wunderschönen, aber sehr melancholischen Performance von EN FINSTERNIS (in einem schwarzen Kleid von V I A N Fashion) mit einer brennenden Kerze brauchten wir ja wie am Ende des letzten Artikels erwähnt definitiv noch mehr Feuer... (^.^) ... Und das bekamen wir auch... erst draußen von einer bezaubernden und nun ganz in weiß gekleideten EVILYN FRANTIC, nach Rückkehr dann auch musikalisch von STEVE MORELL... beides zusammen ein großartiger Startschuss für die Party-Time (es war mittlerweile etwas nach 23 h, die Nacht war also noch jung)!!! ♥♥♥

Directly after the concert of THE WINGS OF DESIRE EVILYN FRANTIC and me prankishly entered the stage to announce Evilyn's now following nightly fire performance together. We asked our accustomed and pleasantly mobile audience to follow us outside into the front inner yard of the Panke club... Shortly after, our DJ STEVE MORELL (standing already at the turntables prepared for his first set) looked at me a bit insecurely and asked, if nevertheless he should start already in the concert- and party room - or if he better should wait till we come in again? A bit irritated myself from his obvious question I said with a laughing gesture: "No, no, just start in any case! That's STYLE! IT! TAKES! - everything happens at the same time!" (^.^) Headphones put on, a grin - and let's get started... :-)

Naturally, the majority of our audience nevertheless first followed us into the yard for the moment, since after the gorgeous, but very melancholic performance of EN FINSTERNIS (in a black dress by V I A N Fashion) with a burning candle, like mentioned at the end of the last article, we definitely needed even more fire ... (^.^) ... And that's what we got of course... first outside by a charming EVILYN FRANTIC now entirely dressed in white, after our return then also musically by STEVE MORELL... both together a great starting shot for the party time (in the meantime it was shortly after 23 h, so the night was still young)!!! ♥♥♥

Wie schon in meinem Artikel zur ersten Performance von EVILYN FRANTIC bei STYLE! IT! TAKES! # 5, der Ponygirl-Show, erwähnt, ist Evilyn unglaublich geschickt. So kann sie nicht nur in recht absurden Schuhen laufen beziehungsweise galoppieren (siehe den anderen Post) oder mit Feuer umgehen (um nur ein paar Skills zu erwähnen), sondern auch mit Schmucksteinchen, Perlen, Schere, Nadel und Faden. Die gelernte Schneiderin hat sich ihr komplettes Outfit selbst erstellt, vom wunderschönen Kopfschmuck mit zu unserem Gärten-Motto passenden großen weißen Blüten und flauschigen weißen Federn über den dazu passenden neckischen Brustschmuck, der die Brüste nicht verhüllt, sondern betont und mit weißen Blumen-Pasties kombiniert wurde bis zum (sehr kurzen) Rock. Wunderschön und extrem sexy - sie sah wirklich aus wie eine verführerische Feuergöttin! ♥♥♥

Like already mentioned in my article about the first performance of EVILYN FRANTIC at STYLE! IT! TAKES! # 5, the ponygirl show, Evilyn is incredibly skilful. So she can not only walk or, better to say, gallop in quite absurd shoes (see the other post) or handle with fire (to mention only a few skills), but also with little gems, pearls, scissors, needle and thread. The trained dressmaker has made her complete outfit all by herself, from the gorgeous headpiece with - suiting to our gardens motto - huge white blossoms and fluffy white feathers to the matching saucy chest adornment, which does not cover the breasts, but emphasizes them and has been combined with white flower pasties to the (very short) skirt. Wonderfully beautiful and extremely sexy - she really looked like a seductive fire goddess! ♥♥♥

Mit dieser entzückenden Performance haben wir im Laufe der Veranstaltung wirklich das ganze, große Areal der PANKE 'bespielt' - vom Garten über Bar und Club-Räume bis zum Innenhof... Und EVILYN FRANTIC hat die Treuen unserer Gäste nun schon als Wassernixe (bei STYLE! IT! TAKES! # 3 letztes Jahr im Sommer), als Ponygirl und als Feuergöttin verzaubert!!! ♥♥♥ Und wer so großartig ist, mit dem arbeiten wir auch gerne immer wieder zusammen! Evilyn, Du bist so wunderbar!!! Umarmungen und 1000 Küsse! ♥♥♥

Und nun aber zurückspaziert in den Club - STEVE MORELL wartet auf Euch!!! Er ist übrigens - weil wir die Abwechslung lieben, nicht weil wir mit unserer großartigen DJ-Auswahl unzufrieden waren - der erste DJ, der zum zweiten Mal bei uns aufgelegt hat (nach STYLE! IT! TAKES! # 4)... und auch hier gilt: gerne wieder!!! ♥♥♥

With this enchanting performance we really have 'played on' the whole, huge area of PANKE in the course of the event - from the garden to the bar and club rooms to the inner yard... And EVILYN FRANTIC has enchanted the faithful of our guests now already as a mermaid (at STYLE! IT! TAKES! # 3 last year in summer), as ponygirl and as fire goddess!!! ♥♥♥ And if someone is that magnificent, it's a pleasure to work together time and again! Evilyn, you are so wonderful!!! Hugs and 1000 Kisses! ♥♥♥

But now come on and wander back into the club - STEVE MORELL waits for you!!! He is (after STYLE! IT! TAKES! # 4) incidentally the first DJ playing already the second time at our events (because we love the variety, not because we have been unsatisfied with our great selection of DJs...)... and also here it goes: with pleasure again!!! ♥♥♥

CONFLICT! CRASH! STRIKE! FIRE!

 "It's ooops so quiet... so let's start a riot!!!"

CONFLICT!

Every second of this evening of STYLE! IT! TAKES! # 3 in the beautiful garden of Chalet Club has been absolutely perfect: from the beginnings in the afternoon with lovely lilies by JARKA SNAJBERK and our super nice LITTLE MARKET through the breathtakingly wonderful performances by MARIA KALEDENKOVA and LILIYA CHIKOVA doing rhythmic gymnastics, EVILYN FRANTIC being our sweet mermaid, NAMJIRA the geisha dancing Asia Fusion and CLEA CUTTHROAT performing Alice in the earlier evening to the fantastic live concerts of NORA BELOW and VELVET CONDOM during dusk and into the night. Between the shows we had a perfect DJ with MARIE GERMINAL / NUIT NOIRE and we had such lovely and sexy guests, too...

Only one thing has been a bit strange in the background the whole day... part of the nice and competent staff of Chalet Club have not been in that good mood of our lovely and wonderful event... Why? We got to know that most of our partners we were working with that day and evening were kicked out by a new club management! STYLE! IT! TAKES! # 3 has been their last working day before being thrown out, ironically exactly before the club's 'birthday celebrations' of 'One year Chalet Club' starting right after our event at midnight. WTF!!! Though we never like managements kicking out their employees, you still could say, it's not our business or problem... but unfortunately things took a different turn!!!

CRASH!

Seconds after 10pm - the agreed time for the end of the live concerts - the new boss arrived at the DJ desk, shouted at the Chalet technician to immediately stop the live concert of VELVET CONDOM just at it's height, during the last or penultimate song of their amazing performance... and then he tried to pull out the cables in a both very aggressive and ridiculously stupid manner (DJ headphones included!!! *lol*), but no way...

... after pulling out every cable existing, live music stopped and there was a horrifying silence in 'our' garden for minutes... a shocked technician, a shocked light guy, a shocked me, a shocked band and a shocked audience... no sound at all, not even a microphone left for me for communication, nothing...

Originally, right after the concert, CLEA CUTTHOAT should have been the next and final performer in a wonderful white dress by fashion designer LILY CUT, doing a very bloody Grande Finale zombie show. This should lead over to a nightly DJ MARIE GERMINAL party and dance set inside the pavilion, celebrating our glorious evening right before Berlin would sink into chaos at last... (^.^)

STRIKE!

STYLE! IT! TAKES! was born out of experiences of alienated wage labour.
STYLE! IT! TAKES! started after deciding to never work again.

Waiting just around the corner for her cue, CLEA CUTTHROAT directly has been watching that disgusting situation - opening eyes about the sometimes fucked up arrogant Berlin art and club situation and maybe (this has been stated as the official 'reason') some ridiculous neighbours calling the police because of something different happening on a noisy Saturday night in Kreuzberg... (we are not sure if we should believe this and even if, we are talking about some minutes live program left and the club DJs were going on all night anyway without any police arriving...)

Both the Chalet club's sound guy and I had been fighting against this attack on Berlin underground culture, but no chance...

...and then our wonderful friend CLEA looked at me and said:

"Kersten, you are such a lovely person and this is such a great event, I appreciate what you are doing so much, but I will NEVER perform for such douche-bags treating artists like shit!!!"

So CLEA CUTTHROAT went on the first STYLE! IT! TAKES! strike - and I strongly felt that this was the very right decision and absolutely coherent spirit!!! ♥

Not knowing who was comforting whom, that must have been the moment when CLEA and I fell into each other's arms for quite a long time...

FIRE!

So I think we both missed this... EVILYN FRANTIC took over spontaneously in this situation without music (at least: not our music!), getting naked and playing with fire... ♥♥♥

While I was wandering around trying to personally inform as many people as possible about what happened here in the background, suddenly our music started again. :-) It came out that our fantastic DJ MARIE GERMINAL / NUIT NOIRE reinstalled the DJ desk shortly after being cut off and fought back her place together with the dismissed Chalet technician (thank you, this was super nice and you did such a great sound and mixing job the whole evening - hope you find a new place to work, you deserve it!!! Everyone knowing something about mixing was very satisfied and impressed by your sound...) for another round of her great DJ sets!!!

This courageous intervention has been another situation showing how great our artists have been throughout this amazing evening... thank you so much, NUIT NOIRE!!! ♥♥♥

So even this disgusting situation was turned by everyone involved into something amazing:

a strike keeping head-held-high against disrespectful treatment of artists in Berlin club culture,

a fantastic spontaneous sexy fire show in the garden which helped over the sudden silence and our DJ fighting successfully with solidarity by kicked out technicians to get back her place and finish what was promised to her by us and by the club!!!

I'm deeply impressed by all of you and your amazing actions: thanx so much, Clea Cutthroat, Evilyn Frantic and Marie Germinal!!! Thanx so much, too, to Velvet Condom who showed great style in getting disrupted and to our great audience, who had so much understanding and showed such a great solidarity!!!

Kersten aka Magenta for Style! It! Takes!

p. s.: I want to say loud and clear that ALL of Chalet club's old personnel has been absolutely nice, helpful and competent during the whole evening: starting from the cleaning people in the afternoon fulfilling all our (partly complicated and stressy) wishes to all of the bartenders, the super nice barbecue man to the great sound and light technicians and many others. Also, the former boss was pissed off and sorry for the unneccessary and aggressive break-up only some minutes before the end of the concert. So no complaints, everyone working for this club till that night did a fabulous job!!!

p. p. s.: Still, we feel very sorry for Velvet Condom not being able to finish their great live set, for Clea Cutthroat being unable to perform her and our planned 'Grande Finale' in an acceptable way, for fashion designer Lily Cut since Clea Cutthroat has been wearing a wonderful white dress by her for her blood show and for Marie Germinal who has still been cut off of one hour party time (orginal schedule had been till midnight, but she had to stop at 23 h). Also we feel sorry for our later guests, partly not knowing what had been happening at all... but having that great evening in mind, everyone felt happy in the end - no chance for the 'douche-bags'!!! (^.^) ...

We simply are larger than life!!! ♥
