DJ-Set by STEVE MORELL

With some nice delay and a good while after midnight, the first part of our amazing STYLE! IT! TAKES! # 4 night at Urban Spree's gallery was over then and it has been already such a great & thrilling evening much more lovely and interesting than most loveless und boring Berlin events till that point. But, unbelievable enough, it has been just the first half of our "Re-Thinking PUNK!"-night... So we asked our guests to switch into the club room now for the second part, where DJ STEVE MORELL was just waiting for them to drive our hungry guests directly onto the dance floor. And it worked out fine... super fine... you could feel the party fever from the first seconds and STEVE did such a great job to let not one single person standing still... amazing!!! Thanx so much, Steve, thanx you lovely & stylish party people!!! ♥

My posts about the fourth Night of Fashion, Performances, Arts & Music, this time @ Urban Spree, started with my story about the beautiful STREET GLAMOUR PHOTO WALL (read about this lovely idea there). Our stylish guests were photographed by Lux Artifex and Eve Lumière of photo studio "Atelier 'et Lux'". In the first part we already had wonderful pictures of various nice & beautiful guests, of the runners from DEGENEROTIKA fashion label & exhibiting artist SHAVI LAVI, of Teaserettes-night-celeb SHEILA WOLF & model SINTEQUE, of me the curator & Pezi from DOLLBREAK, to name just a few. ... in the summer garden of CHALET

Die Suche nach einer geeigneten Location für STYLE! IT! TAKES! gehört zu den schwierigsten, bisweilen aber auch interessantesten Aufgaben jeder Veranstaltung. Da es bei uns ja nie langweilig werden soll, habe ich mich - wie bereits am Ende unseres Manifestes angedeutet - für die Juli Fashion Week für ein sommerliches Setting entschieden und im zauberhaften Garten des CHALET Clubs in Kreuzberg einen beinahe magischen Ort für unsere Shows gefunden...

Dreaming of STYLE! IT! TAKES! # 3 at Chalet Club Garden (May 2013)

Finding a suitable location for STYLE! IT! TAKES! is one of the most difficult, but sometimes also most interesting tasks of every event. Since with us it should never get boring, for the July Berlin Fashion Week I decided on a very summerly setting - as intimated already at the end of our Manifesto - and found an almost magical place for our shows in the enchanting garden of the CHALET club in Kreuzberg...

Letzten Sommer hat sich ein Teil der ehemaligen Bar25-Crew dem 1850 erbauten, denkmalgeschützten Sternenhaus vor dem Schlesischen Tor angenommen (früher war hier das "Heinz Minki") und es zu einer angesagten Kulturstätte umgewandelt.

Chalet is a club owned by former Bar25 crew members. It's housed in the center of Kreuzberg in a 150 year-old building, which "radiates the warm atmosphere of the 19th century."

Der Chalet Club hat sogar eine eigene Bushaltestelle / Chalet Club even got its own bus station (Bus 265 (N65) > S Schöneweide: Heckmannufer)

It's also close both from U 1 Schlesisches Tor and S 41/42 Treptower Park (located in the middle of these stations)
